Qualified volunteers: DANE Project and Arbusta

CSR, Ready to Help

by Globant CSR

As part of the Inclusive Commission of the Chamber of Software and Computer Services of Argentina (CESSI), Globant and its volunteers remain key actors in the development of DANE Project: Development Applications to Tablets, oriented to education and recreational areas and job placement for people with disabilities.

In May, a UX team from Globant tested applications in schools and subsequently gave a workshop to all involved on the lessons learned from that observation.

Moreover, in Rosario, some volunteers helped Arbusta, a B-Corporation which are the first social impact outsourcing company in South America. Their mission is to empower women and youth from underprivileged communities, providing them with the needed social ant technical skills and a first-job opportunity within their neighborhoods through digital services production.
